This policy explains how Lawn Care Company Australia, a division of BuyFactory Direct Pty Ltd, handles personal information when you browse the site, place an order or contact us. It is written to meet the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Information we collect

We collect the contact, delivery, order and support details needed to process purchases, deliver goods, prevent fraud, keep records and answer your messages. We collect it from you, when you order or contact us, and from the payment and delivery services that handle your order. Payment details are handled by the payment providers (Stripe and PayPal); the store never receives or stores your full card number.

Why we use it

We use your information to supply what you ordered, to answer your questions, to meet legal and tax obligations and to protect the service. If you do not give us the details an order needs, we cannot supply it. We ask for your consent for optional analytics and advertising cookies (see the Cookie Policy).

Who receives it

Relevant details are shared with payment, delivery, hosting, email, fraud-prevention and professional-adviser services only where needed for these purposes. Some of these providers hold data outside Australia, for example in the United States and Thailand; we take reasonable steps to make sure they handle it consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention and security

We keep records only as long as needed for orders, support, tax, legal and security purposes. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you. Email theteam@mylawn.net.au. If you have a privacy complaint, email us first and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
